Our garage door has finally bit the dust. It had been on its last leg for a long time. I am thinking that it is around twenty years old. I remember when we first moved into our house. I was so excited to have a garage door opener. Our old house never had one, and we always had to stop the car, get out, pull the door up, get back in the car and drive into the garage. Then you still had to close it by hand after you got out. What a hassle that was especially when my kids were little. As they got older, I could get one of them to hop out of the car and open it for me. So to say I was excited about the garage door opener at our new house would be an understatement. Since I had never purchased a new garage door opener, I went online with our clear wireless internet service to find a reasonable company that could come out and install a new one as soon as possible. Heaven forbid that I would have to go back to the old days when I had to open the garage door myself. Besides, I am twenty years older and am no longer a spring chicken.

This super phone has two fully customizable touch screens. Each screen operates independently of the other or together. The main display measures 3.5" and the sub screen measures 2". The Double Play also offers a full QWERTY keyboard and Swype for quick and simple text input. What does all this mean? It means that one can do many things at once! I could update my Facebook status, text, check email or surf the web, all simultaneously!
I text a lot, sometimes more than I make or take calls. My phone doesn't have a keyboard, just the number pad, so I often send some confusing messages to people. I also spend about an hour each day posting to Facebook from my phone. But the camera on my phone is crappy and it doesn't have video. I would love to be able to take a decent picture or vid and post it directly to Facebook. The LG Double Play would really make these things so much easier and streamlined.
Another really cool feature is the 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and the 720p HD video recorder. With these, I can take pics and videos and share them through email, by text or post them to Facebook too. The LG Double Play also offers multiple messaging options such as Cloud Text or Group Text. This feature gives users the option of sending and receiving texts from a tablet or PC and to create group chats on the go enabling even faster and more efficient content sharing.
This phone is quite amazing! LG Double Play features Android and access to the Android Market delivering user customization. with seven home screens and nine touch screen shortcuts, one touch navigation is at your fingertips!

Blue Sky Scrubs Work to Make Your Day Brighter...
Manda is off looking for a new job. Every time she gets a new job she gets new clothes for said job. She shops here at http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Women, because she finds, comfort, fit, quality, style and price all in one place.
Manda works in the ER, but she isn't a doctor or a nurse. Still, she wears the uniform generally recognised as one a nurse or doctor might wear. She likes color and prints and cotton. I think she's probably one of the nicest dressed Med Rec Techs in her department. She has fancy lanyards, pretty pens and a bright green clipboard. I think Manda is strikingly beautiful when she goes to work.
Manda is not a morning person by any stretch of the imagination. One may think that would be a deficit for someone who starts work at 7am. In Manda's case it certainly is. However, when she gets on her pretty prints, and dons her flashy lanyards, her mood changes a little and she brightens up.
They say clothes make the woman. In Manda's case, clothes make the woman wake up a little. Clothes cheer her morning mood. And clothes absolutely make her co-workers take notice. She likes that.

Five years ago, my cousin Jane bought a beautiful home in Austin. It had wall to wall carpeting in the living and dining rooms.Last year her husband Perry announced he was replacing the carpet. After taking it up, they discovered some water damage to an otherwise beautiful hardwood floor. Jane told me the real challenge in the whole process was at hers and Perry's end. They not only had to move all their furniture, but then had to find places to put it all! Perry said he's very pleased with the work The Steam Team did refinishing his floor and it is beautiful, but he's tired! He wants Jane to stop redecorating, make him some lunch and sit in their beautiful dining room with him!

Steam at Edaville!
For the first time in 5 years, the #21 steam engine will run at Edaville!
It has been converted back to coal and will be chugging around the tracks this Christmas season. Last night, they took her out for a few runs around and hearing the whistle made me tear up just a little.
