somebody throw me a bone...

this evening i've had a crisis
in my faith in the internet to entertain me
the internet has failed to entertain me
this has not happened in a very long time
i am in crisis mode

i've become a little suspicious
suspicious because i've received no email in more than an hour
not even spam
none of my friends are here to talk to me
not at gmail
or
facebook
or
aim
i'm serious
this is serious

it's come so far that i actually
called someone on the phone
it is well within my abilities to carry on a telephone conversation
but i like the phone less and less lately
it hurts my ear

i've made a decision
i will forsake the internet
and
direct my attention to television
