Stoopid Hurricane Irene, leave me alone.
In my experience if I prepare for a hurricane, nothing happens.
If I do nothing, the power goes out and I can't pump water.
That doesn't mean much till one tries to flush the toilet.
I've prepared, so wish me luck...
Thinking of you from central NC!ReplyDelete
(visiting from 6WS)
I hope nothing happens~ReplyDelete
Good luck, watching CNN to keep updated over here.ReplyDelete
Prepared is better than not prepared....better safe too. Thinking of you...ReplyDelete
I am wishing you luck, you and everyone else over there.ReplyDelete

I like to got out and watch the fights break out when the hardware store starts running out of batteries.ReplyDelete
We're ready here. Bring it on.
Good Six Words, Tilde ~~ The last time we lost power for a hurricane was IKE. It was out for six days and we only had enough water saved for three.ReplyDelete
Happy 6WS! I hope you keep power and everything else. :)

Thinking of you from another part of NC as well...I'm far enough inland (about an hour north of Charlotte) that we didn't we didn't see any of Irene...ReplyDelete
We were on the far western edge of the storm when it came near here so not a big deal. Hope you are safe and dry today.ReplyDelete
Thanks for playing 6WS!
