The cost of TEP is $8 monthly and by adding it now during the open enrollment period, the Protection App is included at no additional cost.
The Protection App is really cool because it gives you the ability to locate a lost phone by sounding an alarm or you can locate the phone on a map with network integrated GPS technology. You can also lock a missing phone remotely and wirelessly sync, restore or manage your contacts. There is a $50 to $100 deductible if you need to file a claim to replace a phone, but that is far less than the retail cost to replace an Evo or the LG Optimus.
