microfiction Monday # 43...

The idea is to create a story in 140 characters or less.

Janine stepped off the bus, a little scared. In the station, she grabbed a postcard and wrote:
Don't try to find me. I'm never coming back.

Run away to Susan's place, Stony River to see more microfiction Monday.

  3. But she did leave the wee hint, though, that she's in New York. Good luck, Janine--you'll need a lot of it.

  6. If she is young and niave, disappearing in NYC could be just a bit more permanent than she intended!

  7. Good for her, I think! Great microfiction. You'll have to do a sequel sometime and let us know if she managed to stay lost.

  8. I hope for Janine's sake that she was really at the bus station in Topeka--that would certainly throw someone off track!

  11. Great character - sounds like she's trying to convince herself as much as anyone else. I'd love to hear her story.
