I hear that lonely whistle every night - we live in a town with many tracks. Funny how I enjoy hearing it though, even late at night. There's something solid and real... and poignant about it. Good one :)
Very nice. I remember the train whistle from when I was a kid. I loved to run stand near the tracks and pump my arm so the conductor would pull the rope and make that whistle scream.
